Blue Oak Benefits is a Licensed Medicare Agency that offers all major carriers and most regional carriers available in your area for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Dental, Vision and Cancer.

Blue Oak Benefits offers Medicare Supplement/MediGap, Medicare Advantage, Dental, Vision, Hearing, Cancer, and Life Insurance products. 

We will contact you to determine whether you would like to meet over the phone, virtually, or in person (if in the Jacksonville area).  Once we establish a time to meet, we would recommend that you prepare for the appointment by gathering your preferred doctors, pharmacy and current prescriptions. We will provide a brief explanation of how Medicare works, discuss your current medical needs including your budget where applicable, and ultimately recommend a plan for you to enroll in.  We can assist with that enrollment during the appointment.

 A Medicare agent is paid by the insurance company, not by you. When you enroll in a plan, the carrier pays the agent a commission that is already built into the plan’s cost whether you use an agent or not. The amount is regulated by Medicare and is the same no matter which company you choose. You never pay extra for working with an agent, and our role is to help you compare options and select the best plan that meets your needs.

You can absolutely use Medicare.gov or a SHIP counselor, and those are good resources. An agent adds personalized, ongoing support. We help you compare plans based on your doctors, medications, and budget, not just premiums on a screen. We handle enrollment, fix issues with billing or authorizations, and review your coverage each year as plans change.
